Team Logistics Guidelines

Lunch Day 1 | Overnight Stay | Lunch Day 2 | Finish Line

AUSTIN - Day Two, Finish Line

Downtown Austin in Front of the Bob Bullock Texas History State Museum, Corner of Congress Avenue and 18th Street

Vehicle Access

  • Team support vehicles can enter Austin Team Tent Area on Sunday from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. for 15 minutes only to upload supplies.
  • Plentiful parking is available in general lots and garages with no vehicle pass required.

Tent Information and Set-Up

  • Team tent set-up in Austin is from 7 to 10 a.m. Sunday.
  • Teams may rent tents no larger than 20 x 20 frame units. Larger tents must be approved by Lone Star Chapter staff.
  • Order tent from Alexander Tent Company in Austin at 512-821-1994.
  • Complete the Tent Space Request Form and fax to 713-868-3383. Specify special requests and locations on Tent Space Request Form.
  • The National MS Society does not provide electricity, running water in tent, lights, tables, chairs or individual portable toilets.
  • Teams must provide their own signage such as a banner with team name.

Available Services for Riders

  • Lunch, beverages, entertainment, medical assistance, bike repairs, passenger buses to Houston-Tully Stadium and shower trucks.

Available Services for Teams

  • Reserved team tent areas.
  • House Rules

    • Open fires are prohibited.
    • You must clean the tent and stack rented chairs and tables.
    • Dispose of trash in available trash bins or bagged trash must be placed on the nearest road by 8 p.m. Sunday.
    • The team tent area must be taken down by 8 p.m. Sunday.
