Breakpoint Volunteers
There are typically eight breakpoints each day on the BP MS 150 route. Breakpoints provide riders with food, drink, portable toilets, medical support and a place to rest.
Breakpoint volunteers help set up, take down and operate breakpoints. Activities may include putting up and taking down tents, tables and chairs; cutting fruit; mixing sport drinks; providing information and directions; managing lines and crowd control; providing positive moral support and hospitality; and loading and unloading supply trucks.
